Do you write code, or just advise?
Both. We write architecture documents, decision frameworks, and reference implementations. When needed, we pair with your developers on critical integration code. But we don't replace your engineering team — we make them sharper.
What size companies do you work with?
Typically Series A to growth-stage startups and mid-size product companies with 10 to 200 engineers. The common thread: teams that ship code but need strategic architecture vision.
Can you work with our existing team and tools?
That's the only way we work. We integrate into your existing stack, communication channels, and workflows. We don't bring a proprietary platform. We bring thinking.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Standard NDA before any technical deep dive. We never share client architectures, code, or strategy details.
What happens after the engagement ends?
You keep everything: documents, diagrams, runbooks, decision logs. We design for clean exits. If you need follow-up, we offer an advisory tier. But you'll never be dependent on us.
Do you work on-site?
We are remote-first, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. For intensive design sprints, we can arrange on-site sessions. Most clients find that concentrated remote sessions are more productive.
How long does a typical engagement last?
A Diagnostic Sprint takes 2 weeks. A Design & Build engagement runs 6 to 12 weeks. Advisory relationships are monthly. We scope every engagement after an initial conversation — never before.
What industries do you specialize in?
We're industry-agnostic but environment-specific. We work best with teams building software products: SaaS, fintech, data platforms, marketplaces, and protocol-based businesses. The common requirement is a complex codebase that needs strategic direction.
